I’m just going to warn you now that there will be a LOT of photos in this post. I tried to keep it short and sweet but I’m just too obsessed. So… you’re welcome I guess.

“More Please” is what I’ll be saying all day on Thursday, and what I keep saying when I see this wedding…

As Thanksgiving draws closer (in two days to be exact) and I get fatter because I can’t help but scarf down every pumpkin-spiced anything… my jogging and work outs pick up because I can’t just say “No” to the cream cheese frosting and home made pies… thats ridiculous. I just need to balance it with more sweating, right? In addition to obsessing over every single thing I eat, I’m also obsessing over this wedding.

As a wedding photographer in Orange County, where I was born and raised, there is no compliment like having friends refer me, people from my past asking me to capture their day, or just witnessing the lives of people I care about unfold so beautifully. This one in particular got me right in the feels.

Sarah was my 2nd shooter at this wedding because we both know the stunning bride, Kara, personally… and also because Sarah rocks, obviously. I didn’t know Brandon until he and Kara came to my studio to discuss photography options earlier this year… and after meeting him, and witnessing his love for Kara, I couldn’t have asked for her to end up with a better guy. Watching her walk down the isle brought tears to my eyes, and going back over the images to edit them had me tearing up again (which is rare for me, considering I do this every weekend). Their love is one of the sweetest I’ve ever witnessed, and I am honored to now be able to call them both friends. I know the new Mr. & Mrs. Joffe will have decades of bliss – and I’m so grateful to have been fortunate to capture the first day of the rest of their lives.
