Everyone wants to look flawless on their wedding day… but often, the stress of planning, and the increased amount of stress that overcomes many people as they get closer and closer to the big day… can really take a toll on your skin.

So I teamed up with a good friend, Lizet Gutierrez, who is a Mary Kay consultant to chat about how we can best prep our skin in the months leading up to the wedding.

So lets get down to it! When should you start prepping your skin? Lizet recommends 2 to 4 months prior to your big day. That’s just the minimum amount of time, you can of course – start this routine at any time before your wedding and keep it going. The longer you take care of your skin, the healthier, more beautiful, and younger it will look!

Always always ALWAYS use products with SPF to protect your skin from the suns harmful rays! I know you want that warm sun kissed look on your wedding day… but not wearing SPF will go against all of the benefits of the skin tips to follow. Get a spray tan 😉

So what are the Mary Kay (or equivalent) products you should be using? For beautiful flawless skin: Miracle set for morning and evening, and the microdermabrasion kit once or twice per week! Night masks? YES! Anti-aging products? YES!
