Last weekend Cara and I photographed Rachel & Jason’s wedding at Wedgewood Upland Hills.

Everything about this wedding was as sweet and lovely as the couple themselves and we are very excited to share the story of their day and the beautiful images we captured!

As most weddings do, this one began a bit behind schedule. The couple had opted for a “first look” which we always encourage and always enjoy. Unfortunately due to the time schedule being a bit off, we didn’t get quite as much time for their first look as we would have liked – however, it was still a beautiful segment.

After the ceremony we offered to do more romantics with them and to take them to additional locations on the property. Typically when a couple opts for the first look, we do all the photos prior to the ceremony and then they often rest afterwards before the grand entrance, or enjoy time with their guests during cocktail hour. I am SO glad that Rachel & Jason decided they wanted to do more photos. It allowed us to really explore more of the grounds at Wedgewood Upland Hills and we ended up getting some really gorgeous “golden hour” photos of them.

This was the first time that we have photographed a Wedgewood Upland Hills wedding where we were able to go to ALL of our favorite photographic spots on site… and it was well worth it!
