Well I am a few days behind on my blogging… but I still plan to get two blogs posted this week! Looks like they’ll be a little closer together this time… but hey, as long as I keep blogging!

I have been surprising myself with how busy I have managed to stay. When your whole business world gets flipped upside down it sure lights a fire under your butt to get things moving and keep them moving. In the month since all of these changes happened I have been putting in well over 40 hours a week on my own business and it’s been liberating and exciting! I love every minute of working for ME.

In my last post I mentioned how important it is to make friends in your industry and I am proud to say that I am so thankful for the friends I have in this industry! I have had so many amazing friends reach out to offer business advice, help and work! One of those awesome friends was the manager of Bella Baby Photography in Orange County. I worked with her about 2 years ago photographing newborns at Anaheim Regional Hospital. When she heard I was looking to get super busy with photography work she reached out to me and told me I would be welcomed back to Bella Baby if I was interested. I decided to take the opportunity to rejoin the team at Mission Hospital. This week I went through orientation at the hospital and started yesterday! It’s great to be back to photographing new life so regularly.

In addition to that I’ve been keeping busy with all of my upcoming wedding clients. I photographed the engagement session of Maria & Jonathan last weekend and am so excited about the images! Maria & Jonathan will be getting married this October. I can’t wait to capture their wedding at Wedgewood Fallbrook. They are such an adorable couple! Jonathan has an undeniably infections smile, and Maria has an undeniably infections laugh. Together their love is absolutely beaming. I am so excited for them and can’t wait for their big day.
